What is a Correctional Plan?

A Correctional Plan is a document that evaluates the offender’s level of need in seven key areas and identifies if and how these areas contributed to the offender’s criminal behaviour.

A Correctional Plan also contains objectives the offender is expected to achieve while serving their sentence and programs they need to participate in. The plan is reviewed and ratings are adjusted as needed throughout the sentence to reflect the offender’s progress and whether the offender is meeting the objectives.
